Hi for this project I wanted to combine every 3D skill I have and improve it a little. The goal was to design an asset, model and texture it, then make a rendering with corona for a product visualization and in the end it also should be able to be printed. The design for the carving was made in Affinity Designer, it should resemble something out of the dragon age universe from Bioware so I made a Halla design.
The modeling part was done in 3ds Max and I also tried to sculpt some of the planned engravings in with Blender. The texturing was done with Substance Painter. The rendering were made in Iray from Substance Painter and with the Corona renderer. Here I tried to improve my pipeline to make my metals more realisitc with which I was struggling in the past. In the end I also made it printable with 3ds Max and Autodesk netfabb you can find the Models here.
